Broken Laptop (Charger) = Fixed!! :D

You may have noticed from the utter lack of posts that I've not been around.... again. First the hiatus, and then this. Sorry!  (And while I'm hosting a giveaway, too! Yikes.)

My laptop's charger broke. So I couldn't access any of my reviews-- video and otherwise.  And the school computers don't support Blogger, so all I could do was read people's posts, but not comment on them. :/  Urgghh.

Luckily, my new charger finally came in today--which is a week late, might I add. So.... BACK TO POSTING (and commenting) TOMORROW! >:D

Review: G&G Volte (/Twinkle) Green

((Gah--- my laptop's dead-- I managed to borrow a charger for a few days, though. @_@ ))  Anyway, these are the G&G(/Dueba) Volte Green. They're also called the Twinkle Green on some websites, among other names.  This pair, in particular, was kindly sponsored by ColorLens4Less (aka. Create-i Beauty).

Also, I apologize in advance as I am wearing no makeup whatsoever in this review.  Which wouldn't be a problem save for the stress breakout I'm having right now. D:  Blemishes, ahooyyy~!

(Mostly unedited, save for the under-eye bags.)

Enlargement: 7/10  These are a rather tiny-looking 14.5 mm in DIA. <3

Colour/Design: 9.5/10  Well, this series is noted/known for being advertised toward men.  (Likely because of the somewhat 'muted' and subtle design. No huge sparkles or speckles or anything.  Maybe because of the lack of enlargement?)  In any case, I think they're pretty darn cute. :3  I really, really like the 'tornado' design, and the green? It's sublime~.  (Reminds me of the gorgeous hue used for the Dreamy.i Green.)

- EOS Candy (G-208) Green vs. G&G Volte Green -

Comfort: 10/10  I... was thoroughly surprised by how comfortable these were. o.o  These are as comfy as a pair of EOS lenses, if not more-so. <3  G&G/Dueba lenses are generally rather comfy for me, yes, but these go above and beyond the usual~.

(Completely unedited~. o: Except the 'blush', of course.)

So yeah, it seems that save for one pair of lenses, ColorLens4Less' sponsored lenses all managed to catch my fancy.  That is, for most of them, I didn't particularly like upon seeing them, but once I actually tried them on, I ended up falling head over heels.  Haha.

And here are the extra pics, as usual: One, Two, Three, and Four.

Review: EOS VBK-3L (Black) ((Repost-- sorry!))

[[Ugh--what the hell, Blogger.com? I tried to add two more pics to this post, and instead it deleted the original post and turned it into an entirely new draft. -_-'  I'm hoping Blogger fixes this...  sorry to those of you who have already seen this review!!]]

Let's get going with a review of a pair of lenses which were graciously sponsored by ColorLens4Less (aka. Create-i Beauty).

(I attempted to look vaguely ulzzang-ish. I shall never again try. xD)

Enlargement: 8.5/10  These are 14.2 mm, but they look very large to me. Perhaps because of their super dark colour?...

Colour/Design: 9/10  1-tone lenses are pretty simple. *shrug*  These are completely black, with some 'spikes' of colour going inwards.  It's a classic design you see in almost every brand for a 1-tone, black circle lens.

(flash)

Comfort: 10/10  One of these lenses was, unfortunately, defective, and hurt. D:  Ignoring the defective one, though, the 'good' lens felt just as good as all my other EOS lenses. <33

All in all, I really ended up liking these. o.o  They were my very first pair of black circle lenses, and I always expected to look rather... soulless with them, but it was not so.  They were just cute! :3  I can see why ulzzangs favour(ed?) these for the massive effect they can give~.  Very dolly, but somewhat natural (on dark eyes, anyway).

And here are the extra pics, as usual: One, Two, Three, Four, Five, and Six.

MASSIVE Clothing Haul: Summer Purchases

Woohoo! I'm back from hiatus! :D  It was, indeed, longer than than the 1 week I originally estimated.  Oops.  (Clearly, college was kicking my ass. Haha.)

Anyway, I thought that since I got all this new stuff, I may as well post about it. Narcissistic? Materialistic? Somewhat, yes; that's the way most haul posts go. *shrug*.... HERE'S ALL THE STUFF I GOT THIS SUMMER~! :D

(Feel free to just scroll through & look at pics: the text is just my rambling~)

 Store: Plato's Closet

(My mum actually got this for me! :3  It's amazing how good mothers are at shopping for their kids, even once they're 'grown up'. <3 )

-

Store: H&M

(Meh.  I'll actually like this dress more once I completely lose that paunch, I'm sure. :/ *pokes at belly* Luckily, it's mostly gone now~.)

-

Store: Plato's Closet

(Another dress my mum brought home for me!  I really reaallyy like the 'lace' type pattern of the collar and how bright the red is.  I still haven't quite figured out how to wear this, though.  As in, with what bottom, if any, what shoes, etc.)

-

Store: ?? (Gifted from my aunt)

(So yeah, my auntie in New York gave me this dress when I visited during my vacation in NY.  I'm not sure I like how much... cleavage this shows. >.> )

-

Store: H&M

(So I saw this dress and decided I needed it.  Despite the fact that it is a size too small. D:  I'm now pondering whether or not I'll be giving it to my lil' sis, who is thinner and taller and overall more model-y than me. *sniffle* And I really like this dress, too...)

-

Store: ?? (gifted by my aunt)

(So yeah, this dress is from that same, aforementioned aunt in NY.  Again, I'm not sure about the amount of cleavage I'm showing, but what is more engaging is this dress' length.  If I do keep it, I am thinking about removing that little bit of fabric at the bottom. I don't know.... Check out the pic below, to see what I mean~.)

-

Store: Plato's Closet

(I.... have been wearing this dress frequently. It's very versatile~.  I have worn it with flats, heels, and all manners of kinds of shoes.  I've also worn it with a simple, ruffled black skirt underneath, to add a bit of length and a novel look at the bottom.  It even looks good with a belt at the waist! <3  And finally, the little hood it has is so cute!)

-

Store: Plato's Closet

(Have I mentioned how awesome my mother is? Because she also bought me this dress!  I'm still trying to figure out how to make an outfit with this, but I've had a few good ideas already. :D )

-

Store: Plato's Closet

(Boy, it sure seems like I spent my entire summer at Plato's Closet, eh?  Actually, I only went three times, but I bought several pieces on each day.  Anyway, I got this striped shirt/dress because I really like the breast-pocket: I don't see too many of them on women's clothing.  However, I really have no idea of how to style this. :/ )

-

Store: H&M

(Wow. Okay, so as much as I rarely visited Plato's Closet, I do go to H&M at least once a week. Haha.  I'm just totally enamoured with their stuff!  And this is my first... long cardigan/jacket thing.  Everyone else I know has, like, four of these already, but I was late in finding one I liked.)

-

Store: Plato's Closet

(Wow. Plato's Closet again.... haha.  Back on subject, though, I actually do not like this shirt. :/  This type of ensemble/2-piece shirt looks great on most everyone I know, but I do not think it's my style.)

-

Store: Goodwill

(So yeah, I was in Goodwill-- which is a thrift/ 'secondhand' store-- with my mum, and as usual, I wandered off to go look at the clothing.  I am a plaid addict, and as such, this shirt entered my wardrobe.  It's actually originally from H&M, so the deal was even sweeter~.  Also... yes. It's a bit tight. Haha.  Here's to losing that 5-10 lbs. soon!)

-

Store: Macy's

(I love Macy's. Unfortunately, I can't afford to spend all my $$ there. Especially when they have shoe sales.... Oh! This shirt was actually on Sale so I got it for, like, 40% off? I really like how soft the material is and the shades of green~. [Again, ignore my summertime belly.  I've already lost 5 lbs since a month ago, so hopefully you won't see it in any future pics.])

-

Store: Plato's Closet

(I've always wondered what this type of skirt would look like on me.  I now know the answer: not too bad. Eh.)

-

Store: H&M

(I bought this skirt on the same day I got that one-sleeved orange dress from H&M!  I must have been in the mood for warm colours.)

-

Store: H&M

(So these pants were on clearance, and I'm always up for pants with big, cargo pockets.  These look best tucked into a pair of boots, in my opinion. Well, better than with other shoes, anyway...)

-

Store: Plato's Closet

(Guess who got these for me? That's right: my mother! <33  The heels are crazy high, too!)

-

Store: T.J. Maxx

(So yeah. my mom actually gave me these from her closet when she was doing her annual 'shoe inventory'. Haha.  Since she's trying to stick to shoes with more support/lower height, she ended up seeing if I wanted these. Hell yes, mom!)

-

Store: Plato's Closet

(These were also given to me by my mother.  Her shoe inventory ended up being a shoe lottery for me~.  I really love this powdery, periwinkle blue.  Especially with the touches of ivory/cream.)

-

Store: Goodwill

(Hm-- I believe these were originally from Charlotte Russe? Meh, in any case, I somewhat liked the idea of lace over a lighter colour.  I am not so fond of those huge, velvet bows on the front. *shudder*)

-

Store: Plato's Closet

(USD $4 for a pair of AE flip flops?  I was all over this deal. 8) They're a mite uncomfortable if worn too long, but I don't do a whole lot of walking when I wear these out.)

-

Store: ?? (My mum's closet?)

(So yeah, I kept borrowing these boots from my mom until eventually, she stopped noticing, and I just left them in my own closet. 8)  I love these for their comfort as well as those adorable buckles and straps.)

And that's all, folks!  I'll see you next time with a lens review! (and then a giveaway, then a lens review, then a store review, and then a lens review, etc.)

((I'm going to sleep now, but I'll spend tomorrow catching up on everyone else's blogs. <33))
