Hey there, lovely readers! How've you been? (As you can see, my summer is busier than I thought it would be. @_@) In any case, here's another long-promised review! Thanks, as always, to Lens Village for the sponsorship!
(Et comme d'habitude, I prompt you all to check out their blog: it's full of useful lens reviews~. ;] )
Enlargement: 8/10 Ah, yeah. For being 14.8 mm, these lenses really do not enlarge too much. (which I actually prefer.) These look more like they are 14.5 mm, if anything.
Colour/Design: 7.5/10 This series has the popularized 'Sherbet'/'Ruby'/'Big Size' type of design. That is, a thick ring that has many, long 'spokes' going inward. The result is that the actual lens colour looks almost like a sunburst.
(flash)
(low light)
Comfort: 10/10 These are one of the many EOS lenses that the 'the Dollyeye' brand OEMs. As you may know, EOS is one of the most comfy brands for me~.
Well. The brown itself is very pretty. Eh-ehm. Unfortunately, I do not like the design very much: the thick ring and the bunch of 'spokes' going inward reduces the area of the lens that is actually coloured. :/ That is, I really want there to be more coloured area on this lens. Or at least, a different colour, so that what little there is will really 'pop'.

COMING SOON. . .
I think there should be more color too :( It is nice how they are opaque t too bad about how the design limits the actual color from standing out more >>
ReplyDeleteAnd woww I can't wait for the i. Fairy cara red!! Girl, you pick the most awesome lenses!
Pahaha-- thanks! I'm kind of a hedonist with lenses. When I get to pick 'em, I choose whatever catches my eye first. xD
DeleteI actually think YO have much better luck finding lenses you like + look good on you. o: Lucky duck...
Wow these are really really pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe color is just right IMO :3
You look adorable with them~
Aw, merci! And yeah-- their colour is gorgeous, I agree!
DeleteYou still haven't done the review on Komi 4d look yet... :(
ReplyDeleteAh-- I know, I know. D: I'm so sorry. (I think I might've mentioned on here that that review's been put on the back-burner for now? Or maybe that was just my thread on Gaia...)
DeleteAnyway, it's because I'm a birdbrain and left one lens at my college campus when I moved home a few weeks ago.
Luckily, that apartment's lease isn't up until July, so when I can go back and look for it, I will. :]
(If I get $$ in the meantime, I'll just order a single lens, I suppose. Haha.)
Looks pretty to me =)
ReplyDeleteThe last pic was super young and cute =D Gosh I can't wait to see all your coming up lenses they are so beautiful~~ <3 <3
Gahaha- well thank you~! C:
DeleteI'm super-excited for the Cara Red, myself. <3
I agree with you about the design. I think that if the color had been a little brighter it might have helped them look better - but there's too much black.
ReplyDeleteReally cute lenses thanks for the review...

I just googled on how to buy kigurumi online for a friend of mine in Europe and found a kigurumi post you made in 2007 :D The internet is so small, you always seem to find the same people around the web :)
ReplyDeleteAhaha- winning! Although, awfully enough, I have not updated ANY kigurumi stuff since 2009. >.>'' Oops.
DeleteLet me know if you were able to figure stuff out.
Still, the internet IS surprisingly tiny! (Did you see any embarrassing pics of younger me? Haha)
TAG!! I chose you for a Liebster Award, check out the link here: http://momosmoment.blogspot.com/2012/06/liebster-award.html
ReplyDeleteThey remind me a bit of Cheesie's favourite pair of lenses.. Rainbow Colour brown.. I can't remember. These actually look better than I imagined, like you I'm not too fond of the design.
ReplyDeleteBUT HOLY WOW THE PREVIEW PICS FOR THE NEXT ONES.. IN LOVE!!
