Ugh. Tired. Next week is finals week, loves! :D ONE MORE WEEK AND I GO HOME. <33 So here's a super-duper late review! These pretty pink lenses were nicely sponsored by the newly revamped Lens Village!
(And I know I always harp on you to check out their blog, but you really should! It's full of useful lens reviews~. ;] )

Enlargement: 9/10 At 15 mm, these lenses have the largest (actual) DIA available for circle lenses and they definitely enlarge quite a bit.
Colour/Design: 8.5/10 I absolutely love any lens series that has an intriguingly coloured circle. That is, if a circle lens does not have the usual black ring around it (grey, brown, violet, etc.), I am automatically interested. <33 Anyway, I had seen a few pics of the Xtra Sakura Pinks, and their outer ring seemed to be a gorgeous red-brown. In real life, they definitely match all those other folks' reviews. (As for the actual pink colour, it is fairly light, and like many of Geo's pink lenses, it tends to lean towards a more violet hue.)
(flash)
- EOS Dollyeye Pink vs. Geo Xtra Sakura Pink -
Comfort: 9/10 As you may or may not know, Geo lenses are typically not very comfortable for me, but these much comfier than many of the Geo lenses I've owned before. <3
All in all, for a lens I kind of got on a whim, these are pretty fantastic. They are by no means the brightest or lightest pink lens out there, but they must be among the most interesting, eh? Their ring sets them apart from the countless other 'Candy'/'Jewel'/'Sakura' design series' pink lenses. So yeah-- I rather like them.

COMING NEXT + SOON. . .
I like how the pink ones also have a ring that isn't a solid black color :) oh gosh, I miss having my pink lenses! Haha
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't wait for the upxoming reviews!!! Especially the first and third ones!
IKR? And alright-y: I think the Fynale J15 Greens are next and then the Komi Look 4Ds. Then a non-lens review (whoah-- weird, I know) and then back to lenses.
DeleteAnd wow. That reply was disproportionately long compared to your comment.... oops.
I have seen Geo Xtra Sakura lenses while handling customer's orders in the past but I didn't get a pair for myself to try it on because Geo does not carry degrees for pink lenses~ =D
ReplyDeleteI find it very pretty now especially when you wear it Babe~~ I think I will purchase now, even it is plano. <3 <3
Can't wait for your upcoming reviews~ Leopard and the Komi Look lenses~ ^^
Aw yeahhh. 8) I always support the buying of cool lenses. Haha.

Nice review Nox. From afar they give off the geo olive series effect, or is it just me? lol. I like that you went lighter with your hair colour! Y
ReplyDeleteThankies~. And yeah-- they do resemble the Wing/Olive series, indeed. o:
DeleteAnd believe it or not, I haven't changed my hair colour: it might just be all the sun starting to lighten it (imagine summer-- especially after I get back from Jamaica).
thank you for the sweetest words dear! they always make me feel better.
ReplyDeleteyou look lovely as always!

ReplyDeleteAh, they would, woudn't they~? Except all the other colours in this series have the regular black ring. xP *sadface*
Delete<3 You wear pink lenses so well. I'm super jealous!
ReplyDeleteAhaha-I suppose, so. Better than some folks out there, maybe. xD Thank ya'~.
DeleteAnd psshh-- I'm sure there's a good shade of pink for you!
I still like the Dollyeye ones more but these are really, really nice! More on the subtle side, but the blend well. There's something about the sakura line that I really like!
ReplyDeleteAh-- ditto on that: Dollyeye Pink are still up near the top of the pink ]enses list for me...
